Prepare for an art spam.

So for a while, I’ve been off doing my very first OCT, Duality, and enjoying every moment of it. Best part of it all is besides meeting some lovely and fantastic people, I’ve been drawing almost non-stop for in (that includes lots of comics because I’m still a competitor 8D)

The first part to the Nuzlocke prologue I’m very slowly working on. I’m totally bullshitting the coloring and the backgrounds and the…well everything. I’m trying to use this project as an excuse to experiment with colors and story telling as well as finally recording a Nuzlocke challenge of mine.

I totally had one going for Ruby, but it was on a ROM that was lost when I changed computers.

Also there are no panel borders at the bottom because eventually the prologue will be one (or two) long strip.

Blargh.

So I went to this 8-hour mini comic day thing where the goal was to create an eight page mini comic in eight hours.
….I went to that back in March.

Yeah, well, it’s obviously taken much longer, and hell, I’m not even done yet. But I did finish inking and cleaning it, but let me tell you, it was a bitch. The paper I used caused my ink to bleed/feather, so cleaning took about five times longer than it should have. Never again. It’s just not worth it.

I’m headed off to Anime North this weekend, but when I come back on Monday, I get to start shading it. I’m super excited about how close this project is to completion :D I mustn’t get ahead of myself, but still, pretty pleased I suppose.

As for what this whole thing is about, well, it had about as much planning as one would expect when given an eight hour time frame. Regardless, I knew I wanted to do something with my Zorua and Zoroark gijinkas, Lucifer and Lilith, and I kind of had a conversation between them bouncing around in my head. I really wanted to get it down on paper, so I went for it. I already know it’s not going to be the clearest story ever, because I don’t think I left enough room to get in all the details, but oh well. I still want this done >:D

Besides from the missing dialogue, I know there are some panels where there should be chairs or other objects in the background, but most of them are going to be covered up by speech bubbles, so I’m not too concerned about it at the moment. There are, of course, other things that piss me off, but I’d rather not go off on a tangent.

I’ll be posting these again after completion, with dialogue and a cover and everything :D

On another note, I found it mildly amusing that while I was cleaning, I was watching season 4 of Supernatural with all the talk of Lilith and Lucifer and lots of people dying while drawing characters with the same names with fluffy fluffy ears.
